The Island Park Civic Association will be hosting a meet the candidate’s forum. The evening will afford an opportunity for candidates to speak to the community about their background, followed by a question and answer session.
Candidates invited:
- Nassau County Legislator (District 4) Denise Ford and opponent Darlene Tangney
- Nassau County Legislator (District 7) Howard Kopel and opponent Adam Moser
- Town of Hempstead (District 5) Councilwoman Angie Cullen and opponent Claudia Borecky
- Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray and opponent Gary Port
This is a great opportunity to find out more about the candidates representing our area.
The meeting will be held at the Island Park Library, upstairs in the community room, 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 25.
